Chicken Pot Pie

Chicken Pot Pie

Ingredients

400 grams mixed vegetables, drained
200 grams chicken, drained
200 grams sweet potatoes, drained and 
chopped into smaller chunks
250 ml chicken bouillon
1/2 tsp oregano (optional)
300 grams flour
3/4 cup water
125 grams butter
salt

Preparation

Preheat oven to 200°C.

In a medium bowl, combine mixed vegetables, chicken, sweet potatoes, soup, and oregano (if using).  Stir until combined and then transfer to ungreased, cca 22cm pie plate or 16cm x 16cm baking dish.

Use bowl to combine flour, water and butter.  Spread this mixture on top of the chicken mix in the pie plate.

Bake for 30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.

Makes 6 servings

· You can easily substitute leftover cooked chicken or cooked fresh vegetables for the canned vegetables in this recipe. 

· Leftovers reheat quickly and easily in the microwave for easy lunches.

This recipe is from an old magazine (Everyday yummy). Tried and tested several times already. Yummy This is not only for vegetarians :)

8 pancakes as normal recipe (flour, milk, water, eggs, salt, oil)

the filling:
250 g frozen spinach,
20 g butter + 2 tbsp olive. oil
onion, 4-5 cloves of garlic,
150 g mushrooms, 1 egg,
250 g of cottage cheese, 1 bullet mozzrarelly,
2-3 PL grated blue cheese,
salt, MCK, a pinch of grated nutmeg, Italian herbs (basil, oregano), a bit of minced or crushed cumin, a little soy sauce

for baking:
100 g blue cheese, a piece of butter, a few tablespoons of milk, about 1 dl fresh cream or cream for cooking
2 tbsp grated Parmesan al. like (Grana Padano)

By common method prepare 8 pcs of pancakes. (for pancakes I used to do the most like 3:2:1, so 3 dl milk: 2 dl water 1 dl oil 20 dg-purpose flour + 2 eggs + salt, because I do not grease the pan)

Stuffing - warm up the butter with the oil in a deeper pan, add finely chopped onion and fry.
Next, add the sliced ​​mushrooms, crushed cumin, salt, stir and simmer properly in a covered pan.


Meanwhile, let thaw and boil spinach and squeeze out water from it. (If you do fresh spinach, chop it first and simmer for a little butter or oil).
Suffocated mushrooms let cool, add to them a pinch of grated nutmeg, spinach, cottage cheese, blue cheese and grated mozzarella.

Stir still raw egg, crushed garlic flavor, Italian herbs and soy sauce.

All mix well.

For each pancake Put about 2 tablespoons of filling hilly, tightly coiled and pressed into a baking dish rub with butter.

Fast cup cake



Do you like cups cakes ? I am preferring for cook only those.

Ingredients

1.5 cup of medium-coarse flour (1 cap = 250g)
1.5 soup spoons of baking powder
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/3 cup of warm butter
3/4 cup of sugar
2 soup spoons of warm butter
1/4 teaspoon of salt



Preparation

Heat the oven to 180 ° C.

Baking tin with a diameter of 22-24 cm, rub with the fat and sprinkle with flour.

In a bowl mix the sifted flour, cinnamon, salt and baking powder.

Separately mix the butter and sugar until into white.

Then mix the the egg and milk ,sprinkle the flour and mix the mass together until into smooth.

Strawberries cut off in half, lay out on the dough. Bake 30-35 minutes.

Let baked cake to cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Banana - Caramel Dessert



Ingredients:


  •       Bananas - 2 pcs

  •       Salt - ½ tsp
  •       Milk - 3 cups
  •       Eggs - 2 pcs
  •       Butter - 2 tablespoons
  •       Vanilla extract - 1 tbsp
  •       crackers (buttery) - 10
  •       Butter - 70 g
  •       Sugar - 1 tbsp



  1. In a bowl, whisk the eggs with a fork .

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon of mustard
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (preferably olive)
  • 2.3 cloves of garlic
  • salt, pepper, curry

Let's start with the preparation of our tasty marinades :
  1. Mix the honey, mustard, soy sauce, salt, pepper, curry powder and garlic with oil.
  2. Washed and dried chicken breast can move to a higher bowl. Pour marinade and stir. It is important to chicken meat marinated for several hours. Preferably overnight.
